Current Series: Great Expectations  For centuries the Church has referred to the weeks leading up to Christmas as the season of Advent.  During Advent we anticipate the coming of Christ, the establishment of God's Kingdom, and what those things mean for our lives.  This Advent season, we're exploring the "Great Expectations" of people at the time of Jesus for the coming of Israel's Messiah.  We're finding that for most folks, Jesus didn't exactly meet expectations, but often challenged and exceeded them.
