Prayer Ministry

Teams pray in the prayer chapel at almost every worship service. Their prayers support the pastors, pray for the teachers in our schools and daycare, remember each person on the prayer list by name, and bring those special concerns that people write on the prayer request cards. They also pray for all the events happening at Holy Cross during the week, staff and Board of Directors.

We thank and praise God that we can pray with each other!

Prayer During Communion

We begin to offer another prayer opportunity during Holy Communion at the 9:30.

As we open ourselves to the Living God in worship he often leads us to see something that we need others to pray over. During communion is a good time to receive personal prayer. A team will be available on the left side of the altar to pray with you after you commune. The teams have been trained through experience and/or the GAP (God Answers Prayer) training and are there for you.

Prayer Ministry Training

This is open to adults and teens. A one hour training session will be held soon for those who want to participate in this dynamic ministry. Blessings and direction for this congregation have flowed partially because of this prayer work.
