Biblical Integrity. We believe God reveals Himself through His Word and Sacrament, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Therefore the Bible is God’s truth and the foundation of our existence. The Holy Spirit commits us to Bible-centered preaching and teaching that leaves the listeners and students with a greater understanding of God’s Word and it’s relevance in their lives today.
Discipleship. We are committed to fostering a Christ-like attitude of servant leadership. This will be evident in our staff and our volunteer leadership as we live life as a gift and calling from God, receive and give the love of God, learn and share the word of God.
Service. We believe God called us and made us to serve others, not ourselves.
Worship. We believe that people are called and made to be worshippers of God. We are committed to offering community centered worship.
Prayer. We believe that God hears and answers all of our prayers. We are committed to reliance on prayer in all that we do.
Kingdom Growth. We are passionate about growing the Kingdom of God in our midst. This passion will be evident in everything that we do.
Creativity and Innovation. We are committed to continuously evaluating ministry methods to embrace new ideas, originality, and imagination. We value effectiveness in ministry over adherence to tradition or efficiency.
Excellence and Quality. We are committed to superior standards in every facet of our operation. We believe that there is a direct correlation between the achievement of superior standards and the growth of Holy Cross’s membership.
Fiscal Integrity. We believe that God is the Master owner of all that we have. We are called and made to be good stewards of God’s gifts. Therefore, every activity of Holy Cross will be measured against a predetermined standard based on good business practices, sound financial principles, and growth.
