A year long journey that focuses on faith formation

The confirmation program targets 7th grade students (although many choose to wait for another year or two) for 35 weeks during the school year beginning with an experiential walk through the Bible weekend retreat. The students meet on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30pm in our Youth Room. (They also can join in for and optional pizza and game time at 6:30pm.)

They are placed into teams of 4-6 with an adult mentor where they work through curriculum written and developed here at Holy Cross. Each week they are discussing their faith and developing long-term friendships. The end of the journey culminated in a special celebration of all the students at our 11:00am worship service where they stand before the congregation and confirm their faith.
